Made-to-measure roller shutters and insect screens

Control light and heat, gain privacy and sleep without mosquitoes. We fit them with your new windows or on the ones you already have.

Roller shutters

Aluminium slats

Light and strong, with insulation inside; also high-density for more security.

PVC slats

Economical and quiet, for medium-sized windows.

Extruded slats

Maximum strength, with an anti-lift locking system.

Manual or motorised

Strap, crank or motor with remote control.

With or without box

Box above the new window, or a compact shutter for an existing opening – garages too.

Insect screens

We also make them on their own, without changing the window.

Roll-up

Rolls into a small box when you don't need it.

Pleated

Concertina style, perfect for doors and balcony doors: an almost flat bottom track.

Sliding

Slides alongside the sliding window.

Fixed

The simplest option, for windows you don't use to walk through.

How to choose your roller shutter

  • Bedrooms: insulated aluminium slats that black out completely and block summer heat.
  • Ground floor and homes left empty: extruded self-locking slats that cannot be lifted from outside.
  • Large windows or many shutters: remote-control motor; it can be added to existing shutters.
  • New window: built-in box above the window, insulated and accessible for maintenance.
  • Without changing the window: compact shutter with an external box, fitted in the opening you already have.

On the coast, a shutter lowered in the sunny hours greatly reduces the heat coming in through the glass. If you also order a new window, we measure it together with the shutter so the whole unit closes well and no air gets in through the box.

Questions about shutters and insect screens

Can my existing shutter be motorised?

In most cases yes: the axle is changed or a tubular motor is fitted inside the existing one, with a switch or a remote control. We check it when we see the shutter.

Which shutter keeps out the most heat?

Aluminium slats with insulating foam inside, well fitted in their guides. With a new window, the insulated box completes the insulation.

Do you make insect screens for windows you did not supply?

Yes. We measure the opening and make a roll-up, pleated, sliding or fixed screen for the window you already have.

Which insect screen is best for a terrace door?

The pleated one: it opens like an accordion, stays where you leave it and its bottom guide is almost flat, so nobody trips.
