What the rules require and how to choose
- Height: at least 0.90 m when the drop is up to 6 m and 1.10 m when it is higher (Spanish Building Code, DB-SUA).
- Gaps: no opening should let a 10 cm sphere through, so a child cannot put their head through.
- Not climbable: in homes, no footholds between 30 and 50 cm above the floor; that is why we recommend glass or vertical bars.
- Glass: 6+6 laminated safety glass; if it breaks, the pieces stay stuck to the interlayer and the panel does not fall.
- Colour: RAL powder coating, anodised or wood effect, matching your windows and doors.
Before manufacturing we measure the linear metres, the height and the type of fixing: on the terrace floor or on the edge of the slab, which leaves more usable space. In apartment communities we give you the technical sheet so the community can approve the model and colour.

Questions about railings
How high must my terrace railing be?
According to the Spanish Building Code, at least 0.90 m when the drop is up to 6 m and 1.10 m when it is higher. We measure your terrace and make it to the right height.
Is the railing glass safe?
We use 6+6 laminated safety glass: two panes bonded by an interlayer. If it breaks, the pieces stay stuck and the panel does not fall.
Clear or frosted glass?
Clear glass keeps the view open; frosted glass gives privacy from neighbours or the street. Both can be combined on the same terrace.
How much does a railing cost?
